AlumierMD Chemical Peels in Peoria

spa facial mask

Chemical peels improve and smooth your skin texture by removing the outermost layers. At Desert Derma we offer customized peels to fit various skin types and needs. We use AlumierMD® products because of their commitment to clean science and pure acids and botanicals.

People typically peel days 2-5 after application. During this time, it is important to protect your skin from the sun and not pick or peel at your skin.

It is recommended that you get a series of 3 peels over a 3–4-month time frame for best results.

FAQs

Chemical peels are skin resurfacing treatments that use a solution to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. This process stimulates the production of new skin cells, revealing a brighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking complexion. Different types of chemical peels are available, each with a different level of intensity.

Chemical peels are commonly used on the face, neck, and hands. They can be used to improve the look of acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and to enhance the overall complexion. They can also treat sun damage, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. It’s best to consult with your practitioner to see if a chemical peel is the right treatment option for you.
